CALL FOR PAPERS
Vol. 04, No. 01, 2024
Extended Deadline for Submissions: Friday, 07 June 2024
The Department of English at East Delta University will be publishing the fourth volume of Palimpsest - East Delta University Journal of English Studies in 2024, hopefully in September. Authors are encouraged to submit their full works for review. Palimpsest accepts research papers and book reviews on liberal arts, literary studies, language and linguistics, and cultural ideas. This volume celebrates the theme titled Bridging Voices: Emanating Dialogues between Global and Local Narratives in Liberal Arts.
We expect original and insightful investigations, case studies, review reports, or conceptual papers that promote a meaningful exchange of ideas beyond geographical and cultural differences in a time characterised by connectivity and interdependence. Papers can explore various issues, such as the influence of globalisation on indigenous or minorized literature, language, art, culture, and identity, the significance of local stories in forming global policy structures, and the complex interaction between these two contrasting-yet-asymptotic views to enhance our respect for the various perspectives that enrich the drapery of human experience, existence, and legacy.
Initial submission guidelines are provided below. For further details on formatting and editorial policies, please visit https://palimpsest.eastdelta.edu.bd/policies-and-guidelines.
Manuscripts should follow the APA style format (7th edition) and the British spelling system.
